1 Current interest rate for the first year of the initial 7-year MVA term as of 4/28/2008. This rate includes a 3.0% first-year bonus in addition to a 2.0% first-year enhancement for new deposits of $75,000 or more. Rates are subject to change without notice. After the MVA Term expires, a new rate will be declared. Except for withdrawals during the 30-day window at the end of the term, withdrawals in excess of the annual 10% permitted free amount made during the first seven policy years will be subject to a declining withdrawal charge of 7%,6%, 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 1%. A market value adjustment also applies to any withdrawals made during the term which exceed the free withdrawal amount, except if the withdrawal is made during the 30 days following the end of the term. Withdrawals made prior to age 59 1/2 might be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
