Winter 2008 Eco-terrorism poses one of the most serious threats to the nation today. While it has been overshadowed by Jihadist terrorism since September 11, it remains one of the country’s most active movements. In the past decade, the U.S. has seen an upsurge, not only in activity, but in the intensity of attacks. Radical environmentalists and animal rights groups have claimed responsibility for hundreds of crimes and acts of terrorism including arson, bombing, vandalism and harassment. read more Information Theft and Website Fraud are two of the fastest growing financial crimes. AIG Homeland Security Solutions has taken on the critical charge of providing companies with resources and expertise to manage the physical, operational and financial exposures associated with terrorism and other catastrophic exposures. Our three-pronged approach aims at reducing vulnerability, mitigating damage, and putting in place critical financial protections for the range of potential scenarios.
