International Underwriting Guidelines (O.NB.P/OT.B/PR.G)
Updated International Underwriting Guidelines are available. Also, here is further information concerning exams completed abroad through ExamOne:
- AIG will accept a paramedical exam done through ExamOne for underwriting purposes, however we require an application Part A and an agent-collected Part B completed in the United States.
- The producer is responsible for ordering, obtaining and paying for APSs or other necessary underwriting requirements needed from the foreign country -- this includes examination fees.
- AIG does not certify or endorse physicians for examination services abroad -- this is a function completed by ExamOne. Since their physician list and/or coverage areas change over time, we recommend that the IMO contact ExamOne for current coverage information or clarification.
